Four-year-old Caleb Green is a master reader, and he did not come to play with y’all this weekend. He was a busy boy with big plans to complete his 100-book reading list Saturday.

And he actually did it: Caleb completed his reading marathon live on Facebook (thanks to his parents’ livestreaming), featuring his favorite books about Ninja Turtles and dogs.

“I like to read and I want to read some more like my sister,” Caleb said in the video.

Every time he finished a set of 10 books, he did a little dance.

Caleb’s parents were a little skeptical at first when he said he wanted to spend his Saturday reading, according to WLS-TV.

“I was like, 100, son? That’s a lot of books. So at first I had the gut reaction to talk him down a little bit, but he was like, ‘No, I want to read 100,’” his father, Sylus Green, told the news station.

The family actually didn’t even have enough books to help Caleb reach his goal. But you know, it takes a village, and friends happily dropped by with extra books so that Caleb could finish his reading marathon.

At the end of the day, Caleb ended up inspiring his own dad to just go HAM and dream big, because you just never know.

“I learned to just dream bigger, and I am going to set unrealistic goals for myself this coming year, and I’m going to be inspired by Caleb to not quit on him and just push through it,” he said.

Honestly, we should all aspire to be like Caleb.

As for Caleb, he’s just going to keep on dreaming. And then one day become a basketball player and then an astronaut ... and of course a Ninja Turtle.

“I want to be a basketball player. When I am 22 I want to be an astronaut, and when I’m 23 I want to be a Ninja Turtle,” he said.

Caleb is already a superhero to me, however—he’s saved me from these Monday blues with his amazing energy.
