Following the success of the first season of Luke Cage, Netflix released the trailer for season 2 of its acclaimed superhero series, and it’s chock-full of tidbits for the upcoming 13-episode season.

The trailer features the introduction of a new antagonist. Although his name suggests that he is the nemesis of DJ Khaled, Bushmaster is actually a supervillain whose powers mirror those of Luke Cage, who is referred to as “Hoodie T’Challa” by at least one staff writer at The Root.

After his name is cleared, the second season finds the Harlem hero as a celebrity with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But with his newfound fame comes the challenge of facing a new foe while confronting his past.

The Marvel Studios series stars Mike Colter as Luke Cage and features Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Mustafa Shakir, Gabrielle Dennis and Rosario Dawson. The first episode is directed by Lucy Liu of Ally McBeal fame.

Upon hearing that the premiere of all 13 episodes will go down exclusively on Netflix on June 22, DJ Khaled did not say, “Eeewww, another one?”
