Lionel Richie was apparently tickled by a short video that combines his "Hello" video with Adele's new video for her single by the same name. Their songs were released more than 20 years apart, but some of the visuals from both videos are similar.

In the video, an Instagram user edited the snippet in such a way that Adele and Lionel Richie are on the phone with each other. Richie sings to Adele and asks, "Is it me you're looking for?" Adele abruptly hangs up.

Richie posted the snippet on his Instagram page, with the caption "#hello @Adele."

Nice eye-wink between an icon and an icon-to-be.
