Actor Jamie Foxx, host of the new Fox TV series Beat Shazam, more than held his own with the most musical late-night host on today, Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon, up to his usual singy antics, presented Foxx with a challenge where they “randomly” matched a song with an odd musical genre. They then had to sing the song from that category.

So, for instance, Fallon went first, and got the song, “Can’t Feel My Face” by the Weeknd with the “’50s Crooner” genre. He actually did a great job. Foxx went next and got “Who Let the Dogs Out” by Baha Men in the “Broadway Musical” category. Also hilarious.

Check out how the two covered “Bad and Boujee” (’60s Rocker) and “Bitch Betta Have My Money” (Opera) in the clip below.

And catch Foxx on Fox with Shazam (which he kept saying when he hit the buzzer) on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
