Veterans around the country are standing with Colin Kaepernick and his right not to stand for the national anthem.
#VeteransForKaepernick became a trending topic Tuesday evening, and people have been sharing military photos in solidarity with the San Francisco 49ers quarterback.
Although many people have not agreed with the stand Kaepernick has taken, it's good to see that former and current military do understand and agree. And one has to remember: Those who serve fight for people's freedoms. Not for a flag, or a song.
