TLC Slams Rihanna for Her Revealing Outfits

The original members of TLC hold some of the awards they won during the 38th Annual Grammy Awards in 1994 in Los Angeles.

TLC’s Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas seem to have a problem with Rihanna’s see-through clothing after her #FreeTheNipple CFDA Awards dress.

In an interview with Channel 7’s Sunrise in Australia, before their Sydney performance, T-Boz said, “Every time I see you you don’t have to be naked. It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, ‘Oh TLC must be jealous,’ but I call a spade a spade.”

“We became the biggest selling girl group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,” added Chilli. “We could go around too with booby cakes out all day long.”

Maybe T-Boz and Chilli have lost a bit of their own memories as they’ve moved up in age, but there was this one time they exposed their parts as well. Rihanna didn’t respond to the singers directly, but she did post a simple reminder on her Twitter account.

Before people throw stones, they should probably make sure they didn’t have a #freethenipple episode during their own careers.
