Unlike Beyoncé, Tina Knowles doesn't mind setting the record straight when it comes to lies that are spread about her daughter. On the heels of Beyoncé's BET Awards performance, Knowles had to take time to shoot down rumors regarding Beyoncé's quick appearance.

After Beyoncé performed, she immediately left the event to hop back on the European leg of her tour. When it came time for Beyoncé to accept her BET awards, Knowles accepted them in her place.

“On behalf of my beautiful daughter, who is on a plane—she had to run straight from the stage and get on the plane and fly to London for a concert,” she said in accepting one of the awards. “Hopefully, she’ll make it in time. But that’s how important this awards show was for her to show up.”

Being that the Beyhive has way too much time on its hands, its members realized that Beyoncé hadn't had a concert scheduled, so they assumed Beyoncé and her mother were lying. And that's what Ms. Tina doesn't have time for. On Tuesday, she jumped on Instagram to set the record straight.

“I just got a wind of the mess that has festered since last night! The fact that I supposedly lied about my Daughters concert. First of all I did make a mistake on the city and the day,” she posted on Instagram. “I asked why did she have to leave early and was told by a member of her staff that ‘she had to get back in time for her concert’ and that she actually should have been there 2 days before, as the tour has been down for a month I assumed the date was Monday and the city was London well it turned out to be in the Uk but wrong city and on Tuesday. I want to point out that there is a nine hour time difference and it is an eleven to 12 hour Flight that equates to 19-20 hrs to get there!"

People are going to learn not to mess with Ms. Tina and her family.
