I guess that Trump Plaza photo op got Steve Harvey something besides the ire of black folks and lost viewership.

The big-toothed comedian appeared as a host for Fox TV’s New Year’s Eve With Steve Harvey: Live From Times Square in Big Mama’s white coat, a hoodie of sorts to cover his ears, and a winter-white hat to match his chompers.

Chile—he was compared to everyone from Boss Hogg from The Dukes of Hazzard to Olivia Pope from Scandal and Mary J. Blige from her Share My World album cover.

And then there was this:

He also pissed off Fox viewers by saying, “Three little black boys singing a song better than any white person I know.”

Not quite a redemption song, but if they didn’t know he was black before, that outfit told it.
