John Boyega is used to the haters. He’s had them since becoming a black Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. As Monday marked the first day of Black History Month, the haters were out in full force, and no, we’re not talking about Stacey Dash.

Apparently, some people took issue with Boyega’s Black History Month tweets, but he wasn’t afraid to call them out:

It’s amazing how people get outraged over Black History Month every year, as if it’s something new.
