Remember last year, when Azealia Banks said that actor Russell Crowe spit on her and called her the n-word as he kicked her out of his party? And although Banks thought Wu-Tang founding member RZA would come to her defense, he did not and said that Banks was lying? Well, guess who’s fessing up now?

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, RZA finally admitted that Crowe did indeed spit on Banks (1:00 mark):

Charlamagne tha God simply asked, “Did Russell put hands on her, like she said? Did he spit on her?”

“Look, he spit at her,” RZA replied, and then went on to explain that it wasn’t that big a wad of spit.

“Did you check him at that point? That’s a white dude spitting on a black woman,” Charlamagne asked. Who knew he’d be the voice of “Why the fuck you let that happen, son?” reason? RZA went on to say that Crowe did apologize to him ... but I guess Banks had already gotten thrown out by then?

Banks must have seen the interview, because she went off on her Snapchat and had a few unkind words for RZA.

“UNTIL HE IS READY TO APOLOGIZE [TO ME] PUBLICLY, HE CAN GO BACK TO SUCKING RUSSELL CROWE’S DICK FOR INVITES TO HOLLYWOOD PARTIES,” she wrote.

But Banks was the liar, right?

Bye, Kinja! It's been fun (occasionally).

I believed Azealia then and I believe her now. I put nothing past the depravity of white men, so it wasn’t all that far-fetched to think Russell could do that. Isn’t he known for being an angry summabitch anyways? AB is frustrating in a lot of ways but she still deserves to be respected, loved, and protected within the black community yet so many ppl clown her consistently, even without her instigating anything. I’m sure if she was a ‘purer’ victim & was fairer-skinned there would’ve been entire brigades that came to her defense. No one truly cares about (dark-skinned) black women...
