Who knew Michael Jordan had poetic talent? I mean, we know he's one of the greatest NBA players ever, but can you  imagine Jordan writing love letters in grade school?

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, a letter Jordan wrote in grade school is up for auction at Goldin Auctions next week.

The poem reads:

Only You

by a young Michael Jordan

Only you can brighten my day
Only you can show me the way.
Only you can except my love.
You and the great man above.
Only you can kiss my cheek.
When I with you I never fear defeat.
I hope you grow very, very tall.
Because right now you haven't grown at all.
My face shows happiness and blue.
Because I will love Only You.

Also up for auction is a love letter written by Charles Barkley:

I love you.

OK, I was just joking about the Barkley letter.
