Meek Mill seems to be a stand-up dude, despite what 50 Cent may think. Earlier this week, the rapper donated $50,000 to a local Flint, Mich., charity that fights the adverse effects of ingesting lead-filled H2O.

The rapper’s call to action was prompted by a fan who tweeted the rapper about his ongoing beef with 50 Cent and suggested that he should do better things with his time. The rapper seemed to take the advice to heart, and in addition to the monetary donation, Mill donated 60,000 bottles of water to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, according to TMZ.

Of course, with every charitable action, there are always the naysayers. Some have suggested that Mill’s donations are just a way to appeal to a Philadelphia judge before he’s sentenced for probation violations. Either way, whatever his motives, his donations are going to help a lot of people in Flint.
