Louisiana State University Student’s Reaction to Snow Is the Greatest Thing to Happen This Week

It’s currently snowing in the Washington, D.C., area, and it’s put a damper on brunch plans. Snow is a common occurrence here in the pseudo-South, but in places like Louisiana, it definitely doesn’t happen often. So when it does, it’s time to celebrate. And that’s exactly what Da’Quan Bellard, a student-athlete at LSU and Opelousas, La., native, did on social media.

The track-and-field star couldn’t help jumping around in the snow shirtless while singing to Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” So far, Bellard’s tweet has been retweeted over 14,000 times, and his Facebook video has received over 90,000 views.

We should all be as happy as Bellard.

Bye, Kinja! It's been fun (occasionally).

All I can think is if he makes any money from the video the NCAA will ban him for impermissible benefits.
