Just weeks after giving birth to a new baby, Lil’ Kim wants people to know that she’s still the Queen of Rap. On the heels of Beyoncé’s release of her remix of “Flawless” featuring Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Kim decided to drop her own “remix” of the song.

Minaj and Kim have had a rivalry going ever since Minaj grabbed the mic and stepped onto the rap scene. On the “Flawless” track, both Minaj and Beyoncé stated their “woke up like dis” status, but Minaj also proclaimed that she is the Queen of Rap.

Unfortunately, Lil’ Kim isn’t in agreement.

“Am I trippin’ or did this ho just say my name?/Queen of rap, f–k outta here, Queen’s back, f–k outta here/Time to get this rap bitch up outta here,” Kim rapped in response to Minaj’s verse.

Kim, whose recent career has included only mixtapes, isn’t giving up her queen status gracefully. In the words of the late Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along?”

Excuse me while I go listen to “Ladies First” and reminisce about my favorite female rappers.
