From portraying fictional political scandals on ABC’s Scandal to real-life Washington, D.C., scandals, Kerry Washington now has all of her bases covered. In her next role, she will tackle the Anita Hill story for HBO.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Washington will star in Confirmation, which will cover the hearings for Clarence Thomas’ 1991 Supreme Court nomination that Hill testified in.

After Thomas was nominated, it was Hill who spoke out and claimed that he had sexually harassed her when he was her boss at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Hill’s testimony rocked the world and set a precedent for how sexual harassment at the workplace was viewed.

No word has been released about who will star as Thomas, so it’ll definitely be interesting to see who matches wits and acting talents with Washington.
