Remember when Beychella happened and we all side-eyed the white-dominated audience who couldn’t truly appreciate her swag surf break, Crucial Conflict nod, and belting out the Negro National Anthem?

Yeah, imagine that same concept, except with Kanye West (who is already knee-deep in the Sunken Place himself, according to many fans) and a COGIC choir.

Kanye’s Sunday Service will be coming to Coachella on April 21, also known as Easter Sunday. ‘Ye announced the news flight attendant style to his exuberant crew on their chartered plane.

The Ye artist originally stepped down from performing at Coachella due to reports that the festival couldn’t accommodate his grand set request for a giant dome, per Billboard.

But Kanye has been holding weekly performances out in Calabasas (and reportedly, other secret locations) to exclusive and intimate audiences, remixing his catalog with a black church choir flair.

So, it looks like the weekly performances of worship—still not sure if said worship is for God or Kanye himself—are also serving as rehearsals for the big show in the desert at this point.

“We were out in Palm Springs and they took us to a little campground because we were thinking about a little performance in Palm Springs, just a little one,” he said in a clip shared by the festival. “Then they had a mountain, he had a mountain waiting for us. He had a date waiting for us. Only one date that mountain would be available to us: Easter Sunday at Coachella. That confirmation was confirmed last night.”

I wonder if he’s going to dub it ‘Yechella?

Coachella 2019 will take place over two weekends— April 12-4 and April 19-21.
