Janet Jackson and Daddy Yankee Team Up For New Video 'Made For Now'

Janet Jackson has finally released her newest music video, that was filmed in Brooklyn, NY earlier this summer. “Made For Now” features Daddy Yankee, and was produced by Harmony Samuels and directed by Dave Meyers. The song is her first musical release since her Unbreakable album in 2015.

The video, which features vibrant dancers and outfits, was led by creative director Gil Duldulao. Duldulao hand-picked dancers from Grenada, Ghana, Trinidad, the U.S., and Nigeria.

“Living for the moment. Don’t stop. Celebrate the feeling. Go up,” Janet Jackson sings. “If you’re living for the moment, don’t stop.”

Jackson will perform the new song live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday night.

Bye, Kinja! It's been fun (occasionally).

Real talk? I don’t think I’ve been this excited about a Janet Jackson video since “Escapade” (which is saying a lot, because I love Janet).

Also, I now want to move back to Brooklyn. This is just in time for AfroPunk.
