Gucci Mane appeared at a Barnes & Noble bookstore in New York City Monday evening to promote The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, but things got a little out of hand when he was ambushed by anti-fur protestors.

According to TMZ, protestors from the New York Animal Defenders, posing as fans of Guwop, questioned the rapper about going vegan, then ambushed him after stating that you can’t be vegan and still rock fur.

Of course being the cool, calm, and collected dude he is, Gucci remained unbothered, probably because he doesn’t have a care in the world, and will still rock a fur and eat bacon-flavored tofu.

Bye, Kinja! It's been fun (occasionally).

I have so many thoughts about these dinglebats. Ambushing someone who turned vegan but then the protestors are probably rocking clothes made by children in Cambodia? Or the fact that the process of making jeans is very harmful to the environment because it takes nearly 1500 gallons of water to make a pair of jeans? Not to mention the indigo that is used to make the jeans blue has negatively impacted the water sources where jeans are manufactured? I’m betting they bought jeans at a thrift shop though. Yup, that’s what I’m betting.
