In a long-running trademark battle, hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre must have thought motherfuckers would act like they forgot about Dre and could possibly get him confused with a Pennsylvania gynecologist named Dr. Drai. But he thought wrong.

Dr. Dre (Andre Young) lost his trademark battle against Dr. Draion M. Burch, which started after the doctor filed trademark paperwork for “Dr. Drai.” According to the BBC, the Beats Dre failed to prove that he’d be confused with Pap smear Drai.

In addition to stating that “because Dr. Dre is not a medical doctor nor is he qualified to provide any type of medical services or sell products specifically in the medical or health care industry,” Dr. Drai also noted that trying to profit off Dr. Dre’s name would be “a bad reflection on me as a doctor.” Particularly because of his homophobic and misogynistic lyrics.

Whereas Dr. Drai is the author of 20 Things You May Not Know About a Vagina, Dr. Dre has been in many of them. Some of which belonged to women he’s brutally beaten.

Bye, Kinja! It's been fun (occasionally).
