Sean Combs might have ’em all beat when it comes to reinvention.

The man who has been known as “Puff Daddy,” “Sean,” “Puffy” “P. Diddy” and most recently “Diddy” has done it again. In a video posted to Twitter on Saturday, he announced that in honor of his 48th birthday, he was changing his name from “Diddy” to “Love” or “Brother Love.”

In the short video, the mogul said that he’d been “praying on” the change and that though it might come off as “corny,” he would not be answering to “any of his other monikers” moving forward.

You know those Scorpios are all about rebirth and regeneration.

Tomorrow it might be “Harlem Fela.” Speaking of whom, watch him and French Montana rock out to the African icon’s tunes.

“Harlem Fela”? Sacrilege. Na lie. We no go ‘gree. Also, what does he have against closing his mouth in photos? De man ‘ave ‘nuff teet’ . Fi ‘im dentist cyaan ‘elp? Lastly, I generally respect & honor name changes, but I think this was born of ego, period. I don’t buy this as spiritual growth on his part. Heretofore, he hasn’t demonstrated any (particularly in public relationships with women or the men he allegedly relegates to the shadows). If it were such a transformation, he could have changed or incorporated it legally.
