Dear Kylie Jenner: Kindly Shut the Hell Up When It’s Black-Girl Time

Updated Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, 10:27 p.m. EDT: So, apparently I was wrong, and Kylie’s line that is allegedly for black girls came out a year ago. She was simply promoting it again in light of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty debut.

She can still shut the fuck up, though.

The Kardashian-Jenner girls are nothing if not walking, talking appropriators of black-girl culture, so it’s no surprise that just days after Rihanna launched her Fenty Beauty line—to the delight of black girls everywhere—Kylie Jenner and her mediocre whiteness followed up with her own Kylie Cosmetics Brown Sugar Matte, targeting the very same black girls from whom she has stolen her entire look.

Listen. If Kylie wants to make lipsticks for her Botox-lipped sistren, have at it. I’m sure there is a need for lip liners that won’t bust the fake lips open, and lipsticks that can fill in when the Botox doesn’t. You are filling a need here, and it’s your lane, girl, so go for it.

But what you not gon’ do is try to run up on Rihanna’s coattails with your own line of products aimed at the very same black girls you have surgically altered your body to look like, all in the name of trying to compete.

Of course, Twitter saw that shit for what it was, and was quick to call her out on it, and I am here for all of the shade in the form of Rihanna GIFs and memes.

In short, Kylie, go sit your fake ass down, and shut the fuck up when it’s black-girl time.
