Updated Friday, April 8, 2016, 1:12 p.m. EDT: Bravo released an official statement on the death of Daisy Lewellyn:

We are devastated to learn that Daisy Lewellyn from Bravo's Blood, Sweat & Heels has passed away this morning after a battle with a rare form of cancer. Daisy passed on in peace and filled with joy, surrounded by her family and friends. We are all saddened to lose this wonderful woman. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy [are] expressed.

Daisy Lewellyn, 36, star of Bravo's Blood, Sweat & Heels, died early Friday morning after battling bile duct cancer, according to Essence.

During season 2 of the show, the “Queen of Effortless Chic” revealed her diagnosis to castmates.

"My makeup artist was like, ‘Your eyes are, like, green.’ Like the white of my eyes were lime green,” Lewellyn recalled. “So I go to the doctor. They run some tests, and he was looking like he just saw a ghost.”

Even before her rise to fame on the show, Lewellyn was already paving her way through life with a career in fashion and writing. Lewellyn was an accessories editor with Essence and also published her book, Never Pay Retail Again: Shop Smart, Spend Less, and Look Your Best Ever, in 2010.

People across social media have been paying their condolences and remembering Lewellyn for her funny and bright personality.

Rest in paradise, beautiful one.
