It's amazing how a black person can even think about telling other black people to give President-elect Trumpelstiltskin a chance when he's lining up his Cabinet with his neo-Nazi crew. But it looks as though BET founder Bob Johnson wants black people to give Trumpel a chance.

Johnson met with Trump Sunday at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. The two men spoke about business, and Johnson told CNBC that it was a "great chat."

"'The real question you should be asking is, what do African Americans have to gain from your presidency?ā€™ā€ Johnson told CNBC he said to Trump.

"Trump is a business guy, and I think he's going to tilt towards finding [a] way to use fiscal policy ā€¦ to move the economy forward," Johnson said. "Let's give him a shot. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt; see if we can find common ground.

"That's what's best for African Americans," Johnson added.

One has to wonder what Johnson actually thinks about the men Trumpel plans to add to his Cabinet and their racist track record.

Johnson went on to say that the country needs a leader, "not somebody who's going to sort of choose sides."

Well, that definitely doesn't sound like Trump.

But then again, why would a billionaire like Johnson care? I'm sure rich people already have their passports and permanent residencies established in other countries to jump ship when Trump's sā€”t hits the fan.
