Good Morning America co-anchor Amy Robach must have thought she was living in 1950 when she used an outdated term to describe black people on Monday's show.

While discussing Zendaya Coleman's role in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, Robach said, “We all know Hollywood has received recent and quite a bit of criticism for casting white actors in what one might assume should be a role reserved for colored people.”

By Monday afternoon, Robach had issued an apology for her faux pas and said she meant "people of color." Robach said it was "a mistake" and "not at all a reflection of how I feel or speak in my everyday life."
