Tyga once again has people questioning his dating choices when it comes to a fondness for the high schoolers. Tyga, 26, allegedly tried to strike up a conversation with a 14-year-old via Instagram. OK! magazine initially wrote about the story two weeks ago and insinuated that the two had a sexual relationship. Now the 14-year-old is refuting the gossip site with attorney Gloria Allred by her side.

Molly O’Malia held a press conference with Allred Monday and described the contact with Tyga as “uncomfortable,” but said there was no sexual relationship.

The 14-year-old aspiring model and singer says that Tyga initiated unwanted and “uncomfortable” contact with her online.

“The truth is that Tyga contacted me first. He direct messaged me on Instagram. I knew who he was but I was surprised that he was contacting me,” she said in a statement. “I thought that it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communication with me. I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring that up in his next message to me. However, he didn’t mention it in the next message.”

O’Malia continued, saying that she began to realize that Tyga’s conversation was about to take a different route.

“I began to feel uncomfortable when he asked me to FaceTime with him,” she continued. “He asked me to FaceTime three times, but I did not do it. Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me, I quickly stopped responding to him. It’s crazy how so much can come out of nothing.”

Both Allred and O’Malia’s mother, Anne Lowry O’Malia, have criticized OK! for suggesting that there was an actual relationship.

The young girl said she is now speaking about it because she doesn’t want the same thing to happen to another young girl.

“Anne feels that it is completely inappropriate for an adult male to communicate with her 14-year-old daughter, ask for her phone number and ask when she is coming to L.A.,” Allred said.

According to TMZ, Tyga admits to reaching out to O’Malia, but only because of her singing abilities. Tyga’s manager, Anthony Martini, told TMZ that Tyga thought she could be a good fit for his Last Kings Records project. Martini also said that the contact was strictly business and O’Malia lied about her age in text messages, which TMZ obtained, alleging she was 17. Martini said the only reason Tyga wanted to FaceTime with O’Malia was to have her sing in front of producers.
